Biography

Nicole is from Compton, CA and relocated to North Carolina in 1998. She is a paralegal at Tom Bush Law Group, joining our firm summer 2024.

Nicole earned her legal secretary certification at UCLA and began her legal career in product liability prior to relocating to North Carolina. She subsequently earned her bachelor’s degree from Fayetteville State University in Criminal Justice and is a paralegal certified by the North Carolina State Bar. Since her move to NC, Nicole has spent the last 26 years in private practice handling various types of civil matters including juvenile delinquency, criminal, social security, federal tort claims, personal injury, medical malpractice, and wrongful death matters; however, much of her legal experience is by way of family law in various counties from Cumberland, Moore, Mecklenburg, Cabarrus and surrounding counties. Nicole is pleased to share her family law experience with the families of Mecklenburg County through the Tom Bush Law Group.

Nicole is a Southern California native and although somewhat new to the Charlotte area, she has embraced the culture and amenities of residing within the Queen City. In her spare time, she spends most of her time with her husband of over 31 years attending concerts, festivals, sporting events, plays & musicals, while leaving just enough time to check in on her children and spoiling her grandchildren.
